PEC Summer Pass

PEC Summer Pass

The PEC Summer Pass program is back for 2025! The summer pass allows residents and taxpayers to park in designated parking spaces near the water access points at the end of Bakker Road and County Road 20 (Huyck’s Point Road).

It does not guarantee space within the designated parking areas. It is non-transferable. Wellington Rotary Beach does not require a pass as there is no admission fee to enter this beach.

Please note: The yellow pass is no longer valid. Please see information below on how to obtain a new pass.

I have a green pass!

Fantastic! You should continue to use your green PEC Summer Pass until it expires December 31, 2026. This pass remains valid. If your vehicle make or licence plate has changed, you will need to register for a new pass.

Happy Summer!

I need a pass!

You’re in luck: registration for the new PEC Summer Pass is now open!

Getting a pass is a two-step process. You will need to register using the online form and then go in person to a pickup location or event to collect your pass.

Picking up your pass

After you have registered, you will need to pick up your pass. To obtain your PEC Summer Pass, come in person to a pick up location/event (see schedule below) and bring the following:

  • Proof that you are a resident or taxpayer of the County of Prince Edward. Bring a photo ID that has your County address on it; or, if your ID does not have a County address on it, you must also bring a tax bill, water bill, lease agreement, or other official document with your name and County address on it.
  • Proof that your vehicle(s) is/are registered to your household (ownership card or insurance card with your name and/or your County address, plus the licence plate for the vehicles you wish to register).

NOTE: Without proof of residency AND vehicle ownership you will not be given a pass. If you are unsure about whether you have adequate proof or if you are eligible for a pass, contact customer service at 613.476.2148 extension 1023 or info@pecounty.on.ca.
