DESCRIPTION:In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day\, the Regent Theatre in association with Prince Edward Public Library are pleased to present multi-award winning Indigenous folk duo Twin Flames on June 24th at 2 pm. \nHusband and wife duo Jaaji & Chelsey June\, of Nunavut and Ottawa respectively\, combine traditional Indigenous story-telling and music with western harmonies to entertain and audiences of all ages. \nTwin Flames melds different styles and genres because the artists believe music can help create a feeling of unity and collaboration between different cultures. \nThey perform original songs written in English\, Inuttitut and French about courage and survival which honour their ancestor’s and cultural history. Their award-winning music offers a unique blend of different musical styles and traditions.
