County staff will be working to replace a culvert on the Huffs Island Road causeway on Tuesday, October 3 between the hours of 7:00 am – 5:30 pm. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 4.
- Passenger vehicles will still be permitted through the work site; however, traffic disruptions and lane reductions may occur throughout the duration of the repair.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
- In case of bad weather, the work will be postponed until Thursday, October 5.
