Apply now for a Municipal Community Grant

February 13, 2024

February 13, 2024

The Municipal Community Grant program is now accepting applications.

The Municipal Community Grant Program aims to improve the well-being and quality of life of the community and its residents through financial assistance to non-profit, community-based organizations in the areas of: arts, culture, heritage, recreation, environment, health and human services.

The grant funding is based on approved funding by County Council during the annual budget deliberations.

Through a partnership agreement with the County of Prince Edward, The County Foundation administers all streams of grant applications. Application forms and more information are available on The County Foundation’s website. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 18 at noon.

The County Foundation will host an information webinar for applicants on Tuesday, February 20 at 11 am. Click here to register.

To help plan for future efforts to support the sector, the municipality and The County Foundation are asking community groups and organizations to fill out a voluntary survey to get a better understanding of their operations in the County. This will contribute to a review of the grant program, but responses are welcome from all groups providing services and programs within Prince Edward County. Please note, this survey is not mandatory and will not impact the 2024 Municipal Community Grants. Click here to take the survey.
