The municipality has been notified that Parks Canada will be completing maintenance on the Carrying Place Swing Bridge beginning on the evening of Tuesday, November 12.
- Work will take place from 7 pm to 6 am
- The bridge will be closed to through traffic nightly from Tuesday, November 12 through Thursday, November 14 and Sunday, November 17 through Thursday, November 21.
- The bridge will remain open on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16.
- During the nightly closures, northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured via the Brighton Road Swing Bridge on County Road 64, located approximately five kilometres to the west of the Carrying Place Swing Bridge. View detour.
- Emergency access will be maintained.
