A contractor for the County of Prince Edward is repairing sidewalks at several locations across the municipality beginning on Monday, October 27. These replacements are small sections (typically 1-5 sidewalk panels) to address localized deteriorations.
- Replacement of sidewalk panels will take place at various locations in Wellington, Picton, Bloomfield, Milford and Consecon.
- Work will take place between 7 am and 7 pm with an expected completion date of Thursday, October 30.
- Sidewalks may be blocked for short periods of time during the work. The public is advised to approach the site with caution or avoid the work area.
- Equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
