Traffic disruptions on County Road 8 (Picton) November 27

November 25, 2025

Steve Conley Construction Ltd will be performing entrance installation work at 631 and 685 County Road 8 on Thursday, November 27.

  • This work will result in traffic disruptions and lane restrictions in the area of 631 and 685 County Road 8 between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm.
  • Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
  • Motorists are asked to approach the site with caution or avoid the construction area.

The municipality reminds the public about the importance of meeting all permit requirements before undertaking work within the municipal road allowance. Permits help ensure that work within the municipal road allowance is completed safely, properly, and without damage to public infrastructure. They also allow the municipality to coordinate work, minimize disruptions, and protect the safety of all road users.

In addition, a road occupancy permit is required for temporary use or occupation of municipal property, even if no digging or construction is involved.

Please note: The County of Prince Edward provides this information as a service to the general public. While we do our best to provide accurate information, construction projects and associated service disruptions are subject to change based on weather, road, traffic, and other uncontrollable conditions.
