The County of Prince Edward is advising the public that the contractor retained for the painting of the Progressive Pride crosswalks will be completing warranty painting on the existing crosswalks located in front of Metro (73 Picton Main Street) and the Picton Fairgrounds (375 Picton Main Street) on Wednesday, August 5.
Painting will take place between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm at the following locations:
- 73 Picton Main Street between Agnes Street and Catherine Street
- 375 Picton Main Street between Johnson Street and McFarland Drive
This work is being completed by the contractor as part of the project’s warranty obligations.
Traffic Impacts
73 Picton Main Street between Agnes Street and Catherine Street:
- Two-way traffic is expected to be maintained throughout the work.
- No parking will be permitted on Picton Main Street between Agnes Street and Catherine Street during this time.

375 Picton Main Street between Johnson Street and McFarland Drive:
- Picton Main Street will be closed between Johnson Street and McFarland Drive.
- Local traffic will be permitted.

Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are asked to use caution, obey all traffic control personnel and signage, and allow extra travel time while work is underway.
