The County of Prince Edward is advising residents that Hydro One will be completing hydro infrastructure upgrades on McFarland Drive during the overnight hours on Thursday, August 20.
- McFarland Drive will be closed from Picton Main Street to the Millennium Trail from 11 pm on Thursday, August 20 to 5 am on Friday, August 21.
- View the map of the road closure.
- Heavy equipment and contractor vehicles will be parked and operating within the municipal roadway and right-of-way.
- Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
- Heavy equipment will limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
- To keep our community safe, please obey all posted signs, barriers and directions from authorized personnel.
- Thank you for your patience and understanding while this important infrastructure work is completed.
