Increased pedestrian traffic in Wellington for Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer event September 19

September 11, 2026

An increase in pedestrian traffic is expected in Wellington on Saturday, September 19 for the Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer event.

  • The event will be held at Wellington Park (243 Wellington Main Street) from 10 am to 1 pm.
  • The walk will take place on the side streets and the Millennium Trail and will begin and end at Wellington Park. View the route.
  • There will be no road closures and heavy foot traffic is expected on the sidewalks.
  • Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area.
