The County has received an application for Minor Variance to permit the construction of an addition to a single detached dwelling and to legalize an existing detached garage. Through the proposed variance, the rear yard setback requirement for the dwelling addition would be reduced from 7.5 metres to 5.7 metres. Further, the rear yard setback requirement for a detached garage would be reduced from 1.2 metres to 0.26 metres to legalize an existing garage. The subject lands are located at 7 Picton Main Street.
