The County of Prince Edward Police Services Board (PSB) is looking for community input on the current state and future of policing in the municipality.
Feedback from the public will help inform a new three-year strategic plan that the PSB is currently developing. The strategic plan generally outlines the objectives and priorities for police services in the community.
Through surveys, focus groups, and interviews, Prince Edward County residents will be asked to:
• Provide feedback on current police services
• Identify and prioritize issues and concerns about crime and policing
• Suggest improvements to police services
A telephone survey of residents is currently underway and will continue until September 9. Residents can fill out the same survey by going online to the County’s Have Your Say website or by picking up a hard copy at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) Monday-Friday from 9 am-3 pm.
Moderated focus groups will take place from September 8-11. Email Mike Farrell if you are interested in participating.
