Additional section of Millennium Trail in Wellington closed July 23 – 25

July 17, 2025

An additional section of the Millennium Trail — between Belleville Street and Conley Road — will be closed from Wednesday, July 23 to Friday, July 25.

The closure of this section of the trail is necessary so that crews can install trunk mains at the intersection of the Millennium Trail and Belleville Street.

The Millennium Trail is already closed between Cleminson Street and Belleville Street. That section of the Millennium Trail is expected to remain closed through the end of the 2025 construction season.

Trail users can detour around the closure using Conley Road, Loyalist Parkway/County Road 33, Belleville Street, Niles Street, West Street, Wellington Main Street, and Cleminson Street. Click here to see a map of the detour route.

The Millennium Trail closures are related to the Wellington trunk watermain and sanitary sewer project.

If you have questions or concerns about the project, contact Christopher Timpson, Project Manager, County of Prince Edward, at 613.476.2148 extension 2035 or email ctimpson@pecounty.on.ca.
