Agenda now available for October 15 Planning and Development Committee

October 10, 2025

The Planning and Development Committee will meet on Wednesday, October 15.

The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) with the live stream on the municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide comments can do so by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca to register.

A statutory public meeting will be held for the following application:

Please note: The statutory public meeting for Rezoning File No.: Z7-24 – Drake Devonshire GP Inc. – 47 Wharf Street previously advertised to be held on October 15 has been withdrawn as the application is no longer required. Other applications advertised to appear on the agenda for the October 15, 2025 Planning & Development Committee meeting will proceed as scheduled.

The Planning and Development Committee will consider for decision the following application:

Final Comprehensive Zoning By-law to be considered

The final Comprehensive Zoning By-law will be considered at the Planning and Development Committee meeting. A presentation will be delivered by the County Planning department and its consultant, WSP, summarizing the final changes to the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law. County Council will then consider recommendation of adoption of the final Comprehensive Zoning By-law.

Final adoption of the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law will follow at a subsequent meeting of County Council, anticipated for October 21, 2025.
