Base coarse asphalt paving on County Road 3 is tentatively planned for Wednesday, July 29.
The paving is part of the rehabilitation of County Road 3 from approximately civic address 1460 on the west side of Rednersville west for approximately 1.1 km to civic address 1668.
- Paving will take place between 7 am and 7 pm.
- The work is weather dependent. The municipality will issue an update if paving cannot proceed due to weather conditions.
- One lane of traffic will remain open during the paving operations. Traffic will continue to be controlled by flaggers. The temporary traffic signals were removed last week after the contractor finished constructing the road base.
- Both lanes will reopen to traffic when the paving is completed by the end of day on July 29.
- An additional layer of asphalt is scheduled to be installed later this week. The municipality will issue a notice before that paving begins.
- Motorists are reminded to obey posted signage, follow traffic control devices, and allow extra travel time when travelling through the area.
