Asphalt repairs on County Road 3 November 5 and November 9

November 4, 2026

The County of Prince Edward and its contractor will be completing asphalt repairs on County Road 3 on Thursday, November 5 and Monday, November 9.

  • The repairs will take place on County Road 3 between Civic Addresses 1460 and 1621.
  • Following a review of the recently completed asphalt surface, localized deficiencies were identified that require corrective work. This will ensure the pavement performs as intended.
  • The top layer of asphalt will be removed on Thursday, November 5 between 7 am and 7 pm. The base layer of asphalt will remain in place.
  • A new layer of asphalt will be installed on Monday, November 9 between 7 am and 7 pm.
  • Traffic disruptions will occur on both days. Flaggers will control traffic during the work.
  • Heavy equipment will limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
  • The work is weather dependent. The municipality will issue an update if the work must be rescheduled.
  • For more information, contact the County of Prince Edward at 613.476.2148 extension 1023, 613.962.9108 extension 1023, or info@pecounty.on.ca.
