Contractors retained by the County of Prince Edward will be completing asphalt spot repairs on various roads beginning Monday, July 27. These repairs will focus on restoring small sections of deteriorated asphalt to maintain road safety and extend service life.
The following roads have various sections that are scheduled for asphalt repairs:
- County Road 4
- County Road 8
- County Road 12
- County Road 13
- County Road 19
- County Road 21
- County Road 23
- County Road 25
- Smokes Point
- Victoria Road
- Gardenville Road
- Lakeside Drive
Minor traffic disruptions are expected to occur and single lane closures may take place during the work.
- Work will take place between 7 am and 7 pm and is expected to be completed by Friday, August 14 (weather dependent).
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility, and noise levels may be elevated in the work areas.
- Motorists are advised to drive with caution in all construction zones and follow posted signage.
