Celebrate Family Day with Prince Edward County February 17

February 4, 2025

Residents are invited to participate in several fun events and activities on Family Day, Monday, February 17.

The municipality and many generous community partners and volunteers have come together to offer these free opportunities.

Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street)

  • Public skating will take place from 9 am – 3 pm (brought to you by the Wellington Recreation Committee)
  • Highline Hall activities from 9 am – 3 pm:
  • Join the Wellington Rotary Club for games and reading programs with County Kids Read
  • Participate in the Prince Edward Lions Club family fun activities
  • Free soup and chili provided by the Wellington Rotary Club (11:30 am – 1 pm)
  • Visit the OPP, South Shore Joint Initiative, County Transit, Prince Edward County Libraries, and the County of Prince Edward booths in the lobby.

Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street)

  • Public skating will take place from 9 am – 3 pm (brought to you by the Prince Edward County Professional Firefighters Association Local 2745)

Making Memories at Macaulay (35 Church Street)

Join The County Museums at Macaulay House from 12 pm – 3 pm for Family Day fun.

  • Create a mini family photo album using book-binding techniques
  • Enjoy free cider and snacks by the hearth
  • Take a family hike through Macaulay Mountain
  • While admission is free, donations to The County Museums are appreciated.
