Work will begin on Monday, June 19 for the Consecon sidewalk improvement project.
- The existing sidewalk on the east side of County Road 29 (beginning at Hamlet Grocery to the Masonic Hall) will be replaced. The existing sidewalk on the west side starting at 183 County Road 29 to Squires Street will also be replaced. Click here for a map of the construction area.
- Work will take approximately 2 – 3 weeks to complete.
- Drew Harrison Haulage has been contracted to the project. Work will take place from 7 am – 7 pm, Monday – Friday for the duration of the 2 – 3 weeks.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work. Minor traffic disruptions may occur.
