The municipality will begin construction of the new path through Mill Pond Park on Wednesday, September 3.
- The pathway will create new pedestrian access from Mill Street to Mill Pond Park (17 Brick Street) in Bloomfield.
- The path is an outcome of the community consultation completed as part of the Mill Pond Park Main Street Connection project, funded through the municipal Parkland Reserve Project for Bloomfield / Hallowell.
- Construction is scheduled to take place between Wednesday, September 3 and September 20 with work being completed by Terra Vista Landscaping.
- The tennis courts will remain open during the work, but use of the playground and park area will be limited during this time.
