Battery Storage Energy Systems Project
John Kozak, COO of Solar Flow-Through Funds, and Andrew Van Doorn, COO and Head Engineer of Abundant Solar Energy addressed Council regarding Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) IESO RFP for the Procurement of Expedited Long-Term Electricity Reliability Services in Prince Edward County (500 Mowbray Road).
Council endorsement was sought to enable the Proponent to receive Rated Criteria points under E-LT1 RFP or to satisfy its obligations under any awarded E-LT1 Contract as part of the proposal to construct and operate Long-Term Reliability Projects. The motion to endorse was not carried.

- Councillor St-Jean has been appointed to the Picton Business Improvement Association (BIA)
- Councillor Roberts and Councillor MacNaughton have been appointed to the Public Library Board
- Councillor Maynard and Councillor Hirsch have been appointed to the Quinte Conservation Authority
- Councillor Pennell has been appointed to the Quinte Source Protection Committee
- Councillor Engelsdorfer has been appointed to the Quinte Waste Solutions – Centre & South Hastings Waste Services Board
- Councillor Grosso has been appointed to the Visit The County Destination Marketing Organization (DMO)
- Mayor Ferguson and Councillor Maynard have been appointed to the Police Services Board
- Councillor Nieman and Councillor St-Jean have been appointed to the Housing Corporation

- Councillor Prinzen and Councillor Branderhorst have been appointed to the Agricultural Advisory Committee

- Councillor Harrison and Councillor St-Jean have been appointed to the Committee of Adjustment

- Councillor Branderhorst has been appointed to the Hastings/Quinte Emergency Services Committee
