Your Museums; Your vision: Have your say on future of The County Museums

February 18, 2026

The County Museums invites residents and visitors to help shape their next five-year Strategic Plan (2026–2031).

Community feedback gathered through surveys, focus groups, and interviews will help guide the Museums’ vision, priorities, and future planning.

The County Museums wants to learn more about the public’s perceptions of visitor experience, programming, operating hours, accessibility, and more. Community input is essential in helping ensure The County Museums continue to serve residents and visitors in meaningful and engaging ways.

How to participate

Focus group and public engagement opportunities

Museum staff will host a focus group at Macaulay House (35 Church Street, Picton) on Saturday, March 28. If you are interested in participating, please contact Cassandra Waldon at cwaldon@pecounty.on.ca to register.

Additional public engagement opportunities will take place this May at Mariners Park Museum and Rose House Museum. Open to the public, these opportunities will invite participants to give feedback on the spot about the specific museum sites.

For more information about The County Museums, please contact Cassandra Waldon, Volunteer, Marketing and Education Coordinator, at cwaldon@pecounty.on.ca.
