A contractor for County of Prince Edward is repairing sidewalks at various locations across the municipality over the next two weeks. These replacements are small sections (typically 1-5 sidewalk panels) to address localized deteriorations.
- Replacement of sidewalk panels will take place at various locations in Wellington, Picton, North Port and Cherry Valley. Preparation work will begin on October 31 and replacements are expected to be complete by November 15.
- Work will take place between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday – Friday.
- Sidewalks may be blocked for short periods of time during the work.
- Equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
- Updates will be provided through the County’s website, Facebook and Twitter.
