County to host info session for new Wellington water tower on February 9

February 2, 2022

The County of Prince Edward will hold a virtual public information centre (PIC) for the new elevated water storage tank (water tower) in Wellington. The new elevated water storage tank is to be constructed at the northeast corner of the Belleville Street and First Avenue intersection.

Construction of the new elevated water storage tank is scheduled to commence in April, 2022 with tentative completion projected for the fall of 2022.

The PIC will take place on Wednesday, February 9 beginning at 7 pm. The session will give the public an opportunity to learn more about the project including details related to the site layout, the work involved, and the impact on the drinking water system.

The session, which is being conducted virtually due to COVID-19 protocols, will stream live on the County’s YouTube channel. A recording will be available online immediately after the meeting.

The presentation slides will be posted on the County’s website and shared on Facebook and Twitter by Monday, February 7. Questions can be submitted in advance to Garrett Osborne, Project Manager, at gosborne@pecounty.on.ca.

If you require further details, Mr. Osborne can also be reached at 613.476.2148 extension 2002.
