County to host public information centre about Bloomfield pedestrian crossover

November 1, 2021

A proposed pedestrian crossover in Bloomfield will be the subject of a public information centre on Monday, November 8.

The meeting will take place in person at the Bloomfield Town Hall (289 Bloomfield Main Street) from 2-4 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with staff regarding the proposed crossover and provide comment or complete a comment sheet for staff consideration.

Staff presented the plan for installing the crossover at the October 12 Council meeting. Following a discussion, Council directed staff to undertake public consultation on the design of the crossover. You can read the staff report here.

As per provincial regulations, attendees must show proof of vaccination and a piece of identification with their name and date of birth. Visit the Government of Ontario website to download your vaccine certificate. If you do not have a computer, a photo health card, or need help, call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1.833.943.3900 to request a copy of your vaccine certificate by email or mail.

Meeting attendees must wear a mask. Capacity limits will be in place to allow for physical distancing.
