County Transit operating during provincewide shutdown

January 19, 2021

County Transit will continue to operate according to its published schedule to accommodate work, medical and essential shopping trips during the provincewide shutdown and state of emergency.

The fixed route and schedule through Picton, Bloomfield and Belleville can be found at CountyTransit.ca. In addition, an on-demand bus service is available, serving Wellington, Consecon, Carrying Place, Rednersville and Rossmore. Specialized door-to-door service is available for seniors and people with disabilities. On-demand and specialized services must be booked in advance by calling 613-392-9640 or toll free 1-855-283-9640.

In response to COVID-19, the County Transit service provider – Quinte Access – has implemented enhanced cleaning and sanitizing schedule. All high touch points are cleaned regularly during shifts and between passenger trips, where possible, and all buses are sanitized every 24 hours. Masks are required while on board County Transit vehicles, and at bus stops where it is not possible to stay 6 feet apart.

For more information, contact Quinte Access at 613-392-9640 (toll free: 1-855-283-9640) or info@quinteaccess.org.
