COVID-19 vaccine clinics for kids and youth set for Dec. 4 and 11 in Picton

November 23, 2021

Pediatric vaccination clinics for children between the ages of 5 to 11 will be held at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) on Saturday, December 4 and Saturday, December 11 from 9 am – 5 pm.

Appointments at the pediatric clinic can be booked online through the COVID-19 vaccination portal (https://covid19.ontariohealth.ca) or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900 (TTY for people who are deaf, hearing-impaired, or speech-impaired: 1-866-797-0007).

The clinics on December 4 and 11 will be set up to accommodate young children. Activities and resources will be offered to help put kids at ease and reduce the fear that some may experience with getting the needle.

Vaccines are safe, effective and the best way to protect your child and family from COVID-19, including highly contagious variants. In clinical trials, the vaccines showed robust immune response in children and youth.
