Curbside battery collection takes place March 11 – 22

March 8, 2024

All residents are invited to dispose of their dead, intact household batteries curbside from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 22.

  • Batteries will be collected on the dates corresponding with your regular recycling collection days. Quinte Waste Solutions reminds you to have your blue box to the curb by 7 am on your collection day.
  • To dispose of your batteries, place a small piece of masking tape on exposed terminals of 9V, 6V, and button cells. Alkaline batteries (AAA, AA, C, D) do not need to be taped.
