The Water and Wastewater Department will conduct emergency water service repairs as a result of a service leak on Fenwood Crescent on Wednesday, March 4.
- Repairs will begin at 9 am with an expected completion time of 5 pm.
- Fenwood Crescent between Taylor Drive and County Road 28 will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the repair. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
- The work will result in disruptions to water service including pressure fluctuations including pressure loss and possible coloured water once service has been restored. The water remains safe to drink throughout the duration of the construction.
- If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once maintenance is complete.
