Enbridge has informed the municipality that it is undertaking its Cherry Valley expansion construction over the next several months.
- The construction will take place along County Road 22, County Road 10, and County Road 18. It is expected to last approximately four months.
- The majority of the work will be carried out by National Pipeline Limited, a subcontractor for Enbridge.
- This project will extend natural gas service to residents in Cherry Valley. Enbridge anticipates service installation to individual homes and businesses to begin in August 2025.
- As part of the expansion, Enbridge will also be conducting a tie-in for the Cherry Valley system, with work scheduled to begin on July 7. This portion of the project will take approximately two weeks and will occur at the intersection of Kinsley Road and County Road 22.
- Lane reductions and traffic delays are expected in the area during this time. Traffic control personnel will be present to help manage flow and ensure safety.
- Residents should expect heavy equipment, increased noise levels, limited visibility, and traffic disruptions throughout the duration of the project.
