Friends for Life Bike Rally passing through the County August 4

The Friends for Life Bike Rally is scheduled to pass through Prince Edward County on Monday, August 4.

A higher than usual number of bicycles are expected on the road from 12 pm to 5 pm. Motorists are asked to take caution as there will be no road closures.

When passing a cyclist, drivers must maintain a minimum distance of one metre between their vehicle and the cyclist where it is practical to do so.

The bike rally is expected to arrive in Prince Edward County at noon, with cyclists beginning their route at the Carrying Place Swing Bridge. The bike rally will continue toward the Glenora Ferry following County Road 33, County Road 1, County Road 30, Old Belleville Road, Talbot Street, and back on to County Road 33 to the ferry.
