The County of Prince Edward is providing an update on grass cutting services on municipally owned and managed properties.
- Optimal growing conditions and the transition to a new contractor have resulted in longer grass in some locations.
- Municipal staff are working with the service provider to address the delays. The majority of these issues have been resolved with the last few scheduled for this weekend.
- The contractor will increase the number of cuts during the peak growing season. As the contractors familiarity with the County’s properties grow, issues are expected to reduce.
- The municipality thanks residents for their patience and understanding as we work to get all of the grass cut in a timely manner.
