The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) will share more details about the Highway 62 and County Road 1 intersection improvements at a public information centre (PIC) on Tuesday, September 1.
The PIC will take place from 4 – 7 pm at the Wellington and District Community Centre in the Rotary Multi-Purpose Room (111 Belleville St, Wellington).
At the PIC, attendees can review and comment on refinements to the recommended plan, construction staging, existing conditions, and environmental impacts and mitigation measures. The project team will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the study.
At the end of last year, MTO launched a detail design study for improvements to the Highway 62 and County Road 1 intersection. This study was a follow-up to the preliminary design and Class Environmental Assessment (EA) completed in 2024. The preliminary design identified a roundabout as the recommended plan.
MTO is asking for the public to participate in the study and to provide comments in writing to the project team. If you wish to have your name added to the project mailing list or have questions about the study, please contact:
