Increased cyclist traffic expected September 7

September 4, 2024

September 4, 2024

The annual County Gran Fondo will take place on Saturday, September 7 beginning at 7:30 am.

  • The ride will start and end at Isaiah Tubbs Resort (1642 County Road 12) following 50 km, 100 km, and 150 km
  • There will be no road closures; however, heavy cyclist traffic is expected.
  • Motorists are asked to take caution while driving in these areas and share the road with cyclists.
  • When passing a cyclist, drivers of motor vehicles must maintain a minimum distance of one metre, where practical, between their vehicle and the cyclist. Failure to do so may result in a fine and an additional two demerit points on the driver’s record. Whenever possible, you should change lanes to pass.
  • For more information, contact the County of Prince Edward at 613.476.2148 extension 1023, 613.962.9108 extension 1023, or info@pecounty.on.ca.
