Municipal office hours extended beginning Nov. 1

October 27, 2021

Municipal offices at Shire Hall and the Edward Building will be open to serve the public from 9 am – 5 pm beginning on Monday, November 1.

If you are accessing front counter services at Shire Hall and the Edward Building, you do not have to provide proof of vaccination status. Active COVID-19 screening and contact tracing remains in place. However, if you are attending a meeting or event in a municipal office, you are required to show proof of your vaccination status.

Visit the Government of Ontario website to download your vaccine certificate. If you do not have a computer, a photo health card, or need help, call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900 to request a copy of your vaccine certificate by email or mail.

County Council has approved a policy requiring all municipal employees and Council members provide proof of vaccination. Read the policy
