Temporary speed humps will be installed on Union Road in Ameliasburgh on Thursday, May 15.
The temporary speed humps are intended to calm traffic on the collector street, which has a speed limit of 40 km/h, with 20 km/h signs installed on the “S” curve on the road.
- Work will take place from 12 pm to 4 pm and Union Road will be closed during this time.
- The Traffic Advisory Committee accepted the option of installing temporary speed humps, with Council ratifying the decision in September 2023.
- These speed humps will be seasonally maintained in the summer and removed during the winter for snow removal operations.
