Muskets and cannon fire expected during Gathering of Friends at Ameliasburgh Heritage Village May 16 – 18

Residents and visitors to Prince Edward County are advised that re-enactors with the: “Gathering of Friends Rendezvous” will be firing muskets and a canon at the Ameliasburgh Heritage Village (517 County Road 19) Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18.

  • Members of the public may hear noises associated with guns and cannon fire between 10 am and 4 pm each day during the event.
  • The re-enactors will not be firing live rounds of ammunition during the event.
  • The annual event allows attendees to experience history firsthand with re-enactors on-site, showcasing the traditional Loyalist lifestyle. Click here to learn more
