New walking path opens at Wilkinson Memorial Park

August 26, 2026

The County of Prince Edward is excited to announce the official opening of the new walking path at Wilkinson Memorial Park (2699 County Road 8).

Visitors to the park can now enjoy the 0.5 kilometre crushed granular walking trail along with:

  • A shade structure providing a comfortable gathering space.
  • A concrete dance floor
  • Amour stone seating located along the walking trail.

In celebration, the North Marysburgh Recreation Committee will host a ribbon cutting event and concert at Wilkinson Memorial Park on Sunday, August 30 at 6 pm. The concert will take place from 6:15 pm to 8 pm featuring Secret Beach.

Please note: additional construction continues at the property. The public is reminded that the playground equipment will be closed until Tuesday, September 1 as crews work to install the new water system at the North Marysburgh Hall.
