A new mural is being installed on the exterior of the North Marysburgh Community Hall, and you are invited to share your ideas for this new public art project.
Community members can provide their input on the design of the new mural during a public consultation session on Tuesday, August 4 from 1-2:30 pm. The session will take place at the North Marysburgh Community Hall (2699 County Road 8).
Muralists Kate Jones and Sarah Tyl of Golden Butter Murals are designing and installing the mural in collaboration with input from the community. They were selected following an open artist call and peer review process under the municipality’s public art program, which is administered by County Arts.
Attendees will have the chance to meet and speak to the muralists as well as Stacey Sproule, Public Art Coordinator, and Chris Palmer, Supervisor of Museums and Cultural Services.
Anyone who would like to provide input but is unable to attend the session can send comments to Ms. Sproule via email to stacey@countyarts.ca.
