NOTICE: Charity bike ride on County roads August 20

August 15, 2022

A major charity bike ride will be out on several County roads on Saturday, August 20.

Parkinson’s Canada is hosting “Pedal for Parkinson’s Prince Edward County.” Cyclists will begin at 8 am and finish the course at approximately 2 pm.

The charity bike ride features a 40-km and 75-km option, starting and finishing at the North Marysburgh Town Hall. Click here to view the 40 km route. Click here to view the 75 km route.

Motorists are asked to take the following precautions if out on the roads during the event:

  • Drive slowly while passing along the event route
  • Keep an eye out for cyclists, spectators or event crews on or around the roadways
  • Share the road with event participants
