Detour for Consecon Bridge repairs begins October 19

October 16, 2020

A detour for Consecon Bridge repairs will begin on Monday, October 19.

Larsen Brothers Limited is completing repairs to the barrier system on County Road 29 Consecon Bridge, which will require a southbound detour.

  • Construction is expected to begin on Monday, October 19 and continue until Friday, November 13, weather permitting.
  • A temporary southbound detour will be set up to allow for a temporary lane closure at the Consecon Bridge. Please follow the signs indicating the detour route.
  • A temporary concrete barrier will be installed as a safety measure for vehicles, pedestrians and workers during removal of damaged aluminum railing components.

During repairs, new aluminum railing components will be installed. All traffic control aids will be removed when repair work is complete.
