Pavement marking will begin today in Prince Edward County, starting with miscellaneous paint applications (symbols, crosswalks, stop bars, etc.). Pavement marking for road centreline and edge lines is scheduled to occur in July.
- Minor traffic disruptions that are short in duration may occur during pavement marking.
- Urban area work may take place overnight in order to avoid heavy traffic periods. Construction lights and strobes will be used during pavement marking at night.
- Wet pavement markings on the road may splatter on your vehicle if crossed before the paint has dried; therefore, drivers are reminded to obey all closure signs and pylons.
