NOTICE: Pavement marking underway in County

June 30, 2021

Pavement marking will begin today in Prince Edward County, starting with miscellaneous paint applications (symbols, crosswalks, stop bars, etc.). Pavement marking for road centreline and edge lines is scheduled to occur in July.

  • Minor traffic disruptions that are short in duration may occur during pavement marking.
  • Urban area work may take place overnight in order to avoid heavy traffic periods. Construction lights and strobes will be used during pavement marking at night.
  • Wet pavement markings on the road may splatter on your vehicle if crossed before the paint has dried; therefore, drivers are reminded to obey all closure signs and pylons.
  • For more information, contact the County of Prince Edward at 613.476.2148 ext. 1023, 613.962.9108 ext. 1023, or info@pecounty.on.ca.

Please note: The County of Prince Edward provides this information as a service to the general public. While we do our best to provide accurate information, construction projects and associated service disruptions are subject to change based on weather, road, traffic, and other uncontrollable conditions.
