The County of Prince Edward is hosting a public information centre about the third phase of the Picton Main Street reconstruction project.
The public information centre will be held on Tuesday, July 15 from 6 – 8 pm at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street).
County staff will be at the public information centre to present and review the detailed designs for the project. Residents will be given information about the potential impact of the construction, and they can provide input to staff on the project.
What to expect during Phase 3 of the Picton Main Street reconstruction:
The Picton Main Street – Phase 3 reconstruction project was approved by County Council in 2024.
Phase 3 of the reconstruction project will occur between 454 County Road 49 and Folkard Lane. Click here to see a map of the construction area.
The project will include the following:
- Replacement of sanitary sewers, watermains and storm sewers, along with new roadway.
- Installation of new curbs, sidewalk and street lighting.
Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer of 2025.
