Registration for PEC Summer Pass closes July 26

July 18, 2022

Residents are reminded to register for their 2022 PEC Summer Pass by Tuesday, July 26.

The pass allows Prince Edward County residents free access to Wellington Rotary Beach and waives parking fines at Bakker Road and Huyck’s Point Road.

Residents may request up to three passes per residence. They are required to show proof of residency and verification of ownership for multiple vehicles when picking up their passes.

Online registration for the 2022 season will close July 26, with the last day for pass pick-up on August 12. Passes can be picked up from The Edward Building (280 Picton Main Street) or local library branches. Residents can choose their pick-up location when they register for their pass.

More than 5,000 summer passes have already been distributed. Currently, approximately 500 beach passes have not been picked up. Passes that have not been claimed by August 12 will be destroyed.

For more information about the PEC Summer Pass and parking, visit the Summer Hub on The County’s website, or contact customer service at 613.476.2148 extension 1023 or info@pecounty.on.ca
