Updated detour route and lane restrictions for Picton Main Street reconstruction beginning July 15

On Monday, July 15, Picton Main Street from Johnson Street to McFarland Drive will be open to two-way traffic, and the detour using Johnson Street, McSteven Drive and McFarland Drive will be removed.

  • The third phase of reconstruction on Picton Main Street will take place from McFarland Drive to 300 metres north.
  • During the work, Picton Main Street north of McFarland Drive will be restricted to one lane using traffic signals for control.
  • During the lane reduction, local traffic access to properties within the construction area will be maintained as well as emergency vehicle access.
