Online voting extended until 8:30 pm on October 24

October 24, 2022

The County of Prince Edward has extended online voting until 8:30 pm on Monday, October 24.

Earlier in the evening, the online voting system was experiencing an issue with the server. As a result, the County Clerk has declared an emergency pursuant to Section 53 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. In accordance with her authority to make such arrangements as she considers advisable for the conduct of the election and in a method consistent with the principles of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, there will be an extension of online voting for an additional 30 minutes.

If you wish to vote online, continue trying to log on to the voting website. The County also recommends trying to log on to the website using different web browsers or devices if available.

In-person voting locations will close at 8 pm as previously scheduled. Visit the County website to view a list of ward-specific voting locations.

No results will be reported before 9 pm on Monday, October 24.

If you continue to experience issues with online voting, please call 613.476.2148 extension 1020.
