Paid parking in Picton returns April 2

March 28, 2024

Paid parking will be reinstituted in Picton as of April 2, 2024.

  • Payment is required along streets in Picton’s downtown core and in the Market Lane parking lot. Payment is required Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm from April 1 to November 30, excluding holidays.
  • Pay and Display parking stations are conveniently located approximately 20 metres apart. The machines accept coins, credit cards, and non-PIN debit cards. Payment instructions are posted on each parking station.
  • Drivers can also pay using their mobile device through the Passport Parking App. Visit the Passport Parking App website to learn more and to download the app.
  • A two-hour maximum for street parking is in effect. The time limit does not apply to parking spaces in Market Lane.
  • The Pay and Display parking station in Market Lane is currently under repair. Parking enforcement will not occur in the immediate vicinity of this parking station while it is under repair. The station is expected to return to service in mid-April.
  • Limited free parking in Picton is available in municipal lots at 55 King Street and on Mary Street.
  • The two-hour parking limit in the commercial area of Wellington is in effect as of April 1. Parking remains free in Wellington and Bloomfield.
