RW Tomlinson Limited will be returning to Picton Main Street to complete work including boulevard and driveway reinstatement, sodding, miscellaneous items and a general cleanup.
This work will begin on Wednesday, June 4 and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
- Work will take place on Picton Main Street from Johnson Street to 300 metres north of Spencer Street. Some lane restrictions may be required.
- Work will take place between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
- Pedestrians and motorists are asked to approach the site with caution.
Update on third phase of Picton Main Street reconstruction
The third phase of Picton Main Street reconstruction is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025.
The limits of this phase are from 300 metres north of Spencer Street to Folkard Lane. The project includes reconstruction of the existing road, curb and gutters, sidewalks, upgraded sanitary sewers, storm sewers and watermains.
The municipality will hold a public information centre for the third phase of the Picton Main Street reconstruction in the coming weeks.
