Planning and Development Committee to meet August 20

August 19, 2025

The Planning and Development Committee will meet on Wednesday, August 20.

The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) with the live stream on the municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide comments can do so by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca to register.

Proposed amendments to the Servicing Allocation Policy (EV800) will also be considered at the August 20 meeting. The types of changes being considered fall into two categories:

  • Substantive amendments to clarify how allocation is granted to improve transparency in the allocation process
  • Housekeeping amendments to put the policy in the County’s new policy template
