The Planning and Development Committee will meet on Wednesday, August 20.
The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) with the live stream on the municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide comments can do so by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca to register.
A statutory public meeting will be held for the following applications:
- A zoning by-law amendment at 3131 Victoria Road (Ward 4 Ameliasburgh)
- A zoning by-law amendment (temporary use) at 247 Kingsley Road (Ward 2 Bloomfield/Hallowell)
The Planning and Development Committee will consider for decision the following applications:
- Assumption of all works associated with the Pineridge Subdivision
- Assumption of all works associated with the Frank Street Subdivision
- A consent application at 84 Parr’s Lane (Ward 5 Athol)
- An Official Plan amendment and rezoning at 4 County Road 18 and 89 Sandy Lane (Ward 5 Athol)
Proposed amendments to the Servicing Allocation Policy (EV800) will also be considered at the August 20 meeting. The types of changes being considered fall into two categories:
- Substantive amendments to clarify how allocation is granted to improve transparency in the allocation process
- Housekeeping amendments to put the policy in the County’s new policy template
