Planning and Development Committee to meet June 21

The Planning and Development Committee will hold a meeting pursuant to Sections 22, 34 and 53 of the Planning Act on Wednesday, June 21.

A combined statutory public meeting and decision meeting will take place for the following applications:

  • Consent & Rezoning File No.: B59-21, B60-21 & Z51-21 – Hilden Homes Ltd. – West of 1198 Salem Road – Part Lot 90 Concession 3 as in PE187344 save and except PE187062; Ward 4 (Ameliasburgh) — Sever to create two new lots and rezone the property as a result of the consent.   • Official Plan Amendment File No.: OPA-01-23 – Municipally initiated — A general amendment to update the Official Plan and to address changes made to the Planning Act. Planner: Scott Pordham (spordham@pecounty.on.ca)
  • Pre-consultation and Complete Application By-law – Municipally initiated — A review and update of the Pre-consultation and Complete Application By-law (By-law No. 4522-2019) to address changes related to the passing of Bill 109. Planner: Scott Pordham (spordham@pecounty.on.ca)
  • Site Plan Control By-law – Municipally initiated — A review and update of the Site Plan Control By-law (By-law 1817-2006) to address legislative changes. Planner: Scott Pordham (spordham@pecounty.on.ca)

The meeting will take place at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) beginning at 7 pm.

The public is invited to participate either in-person, virtually, or through written comments submitted to the respective planner prior to the meeting.

Members of the public who wish to speak at the public meeting, either in-person or virtually, can register by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Tuesday, June 20. Upon registering to speak at the meeting, members of the public will be emailed instructions on attending the meeting in person or a unique link and directions for participating in the meeting via Zoom.
